Building on the “Improving email deliverability through server protocols and reputation!” class, this event is a hands on demonstration of my email configuration.
We will look at the different types of email: standard, transactional, and marketing email as well as what messages fall into each group. As we dive into this we will look at why some may be more prone to being marked as SPAM than others and what to do to compensate for that.
We will look at best practices for how to manage the deliverability of each using protocols such as SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, and how I split things up using subdomains. Finally, we will look at how I configure Google Workspace to handle everything using a combination of groups and aliases as well as other native settings.
